Stade Rennais has become a nursery of young talent for the France national team, reports franceinfo. The club benefited from the spotlight when Zinédine Zidane's first squad was announced, according to Foot Mercato.

The Rennes academy has been named the best French training centre by the FFF for the 2023-2025 period, the site states. This distinction would cement Rennes' role as the leading supplier of talent to the national team.
