Estudiantes de La Plata will face Palmeiras in the Copa Libertadores final. According to Bola na Rede, the Argentine club eliminated Flamengo on penalties at the Maracanã.
The hero of the qualification is goalkeeper Fernando Muslera. According to Placar, the 40-year-old shot-stopper saved attempts from Jorginho, Paquetá and Bruno Henrique. The same outlet highlights his contrasting career: criticised for his performances with Uruguay during the 2026 World Cup, he redeemed himself in this match, as Terra also reports.
Calciomercato.com also mentions Muslera's feat, decisive on penalties from Paquetá and Jorginho. The final will therefore see Estudiantes, coached by a team led by... (the file does not specify the Estudiantes coach), and Palmeiras, led by Abel Ferreira, according to Bola na Rede.
